RUN FOR NYC KIDS IN NEED! #FYI5K EVENT

FYI serves the community that has made our research at Columbia possible. This is an opportunity to show our gratitude and give back.
Without the participation of Washington Heights patients and families, the Center for Behavioral Cardiovascular Health (CBCH) at Columbia University Medical Center would not exist. Our participants give of their time, share their stories, and allow us into their lives to collect data for grant proposals and publications. Over the years, CBCH has grown and prospered, and Washington Heights has asked for little in return. This year, more than any other, the neighborhood has been hit hard by COVID and unemployment. Families are doing their best to manage unprecedented hardships, many without access to the fraying social safety net that many US citizens take for granted. FYI has stepped into the breach, and CBCH is committed to supporting them. We appreciate that FYI has given CBCH a way to express our appreciation to Washington Heights, and pay this community back for everything it has given us.
